On offer here is a extremely rare and very limited 1990 Ryko Ziggy Stardust vinyl LP and CD PROMOTIONAL ONLY Press Kit. This brilliantly packaged promo press kit contains the remastered dynoflex vinyl LP and a Rykodisc 16 track Picture disk CD inside a plastic pouch. Also included is a official Ryko press sheet of information, a photocopy of the Rolling Stone's article which ranked Ziggy Stardust as the 6th best album of the last 20 years, and lastly a excellent glossy black & white promotional photograph containing two 1972 images of David Bowie as Ziggy Stardust.
This excellent mega-rare Bowie promotional press kit was only ever pressed in very small quantities and so this item very rarely get offered for sale. This is one of the best David Bowie items in recent years and it is in superb condition.
DYNOFLEX PROMO VINYL = EX++/NM
The vinyl is visually in superb EX++/NM condition. Both sides still have their brilliant original deep sheen, there are no noticeable surface marks, scuffs or scratches at all. This album has only ever had just a couple of very careful plays on a decent turntable so the sound quality is excellent throughout. This album looks in brilliant unmarked condition but it plays with some occasional light background crackle.
PROMO LABELS = MINT
Both labels are in very clean condition and grade MINT. There are no marks or wear at all and i cannot even see any spindle traces. These labels were designed to resemble the original release orange RCA labels and they really are just about perfect.
GATEFOLD SLEEVE = EX++/NM
This non laminated gatefold sleeve is in EX++/NM condition. The front is brilliant with no wear or marks. The back has a 'PROMOTIONAL COPY NOT FOR SALE' gold stamp in the top left corner, there are just a couple of very minor light crease marks in the bottom left corner otherwise the back cover is also superb. The top and bottom edges are excellent with barely any traces of wear and the spine is also excellent and in great shape with all text very clear and very easy to read. The inside gatefold is very clean and still looks as new. The 16 track PROMO CD is still firmly fixed to the inside right, this CD has never been played, in fact it has never even been taken out of it's plastic wallet, this item has been stored for many years so the plastic flap has actually stuck to the back of the CD, i think removing the disc will cause some of the print to come off. This thick card gatefold cover is in brilliant near perfect condition and will not disappoint.
GLOSSY BLACK & WHITE PROMO PHOTO = NEAR MINT
The glossy promo photo is in near perfect condition, there is just one very tiny crease to the bottom right corner, this really is minute and is right at the tip and is barely even worth mentioning.
RYKO INFO SHEET & ROLLING STONES MAG AD = NEAR MINT
The RYKO promo press release information sheet is perfect, and the photocopy of the Rolling Stone's article which ranked Ziggy Stardust as the 6th best album of the last 20 years is also MINT.

I pack my records very well, the album will be removed from the outer cover to avoid seem/edge splits in transit, plenty of rigid cardboard support will be used to avoid corners bending, this album will reach you in the same condition as advertised.
