Description
You are bidding on an EXCELLENT original 1972 UK FIRST PRESS of the DAVID BOWIE LP The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars, Matrix numbers are1E:2E. This is an original First press on RCA Victor Records. Catalogue No. SF 8287 (LSP 4702)
SLEEVE - the original Card picture sleeve is in Excellent minus condition, there are no tears or seam splits and the spine is clean crisp and fully readable. There is occasional light wear to some corners/edges and light ringwear, but the picture is intact and complete and the sleeve retains all its sheen. There is no MAINMAN LOGO on the rear. The record comes in the original Picture/Lyric Inner Sleeve which is VG+, with no tears and a small (0.5inch) neat seam split to the bottom edge, and just light creasing. Overall a Super sleeve.
VINYL - the disc is in Excellent condition, it is pressed on thick black VINYL and retains all of its sheen, even under halogen lights there are only a small number of light hairline marks but no deep scratches visible. The labels are clean and crisp. Overall this is a Super example of an original FIRST PRESS of this 50+ year old LP.
