Here's a killer, unreleased, lightly funky modern soul track on acetate by David Lasley and Valerie Carter (Lasley is obviously the one singing). It's a songwriter demo, but is fully produced and sounds great. No version of this appears on any of Lasley or Carter's own records, nor was it recorded by anyone else. The disc is in excellent condition, close to M- with a few faint surface marks. The audio linked below comes directly from this copy:
