Description

DAVID MURRAY unreleased Media Sound acetate test LP

I will be clearing some stuff out of my record collection between now and late April, stay tuned for more auctions, lots of different styles-- blues, folk, rock, punk, hip hop, African/world music, jazz, etc.

Possibly a one of a kind pressing, no label, cover/disc = VG/VG this is not vinyl but an acetate or lacquer, I had an archivist inspect and dub a cdr of this (which will be included), he thinks the lacquer is close to peeling off (you can see it more so on side B) but it did play. Some light surface noise and occasional distortion but not too bad (I am going by the cd sound, I realize now the archivist may have cleaned up the audio some). This appears to be a solo sax record by David Murray, and strangely it sounds like alto sax (David is a tenor player, though he is known to own an alto sax.) Label has the name Alan Rosanes (I believe David Murray's agent at the time), dated 12/15/1976, and part number WO #22368. Neither the part code nor song titles correlate with any David Murray LP I can find online.

Shipping is $4 via media mail in the USA, estimated $16 to Canada, and $23 to the rest of the world.

SOME NOTES: I typically ship on Saturday mornings, if you pay immediately, or by Friday night US Eastern Standard Time then you are assured of your item being shipped quickly. Payments made later may wait until the next week to ship. I use standard Goldmine ratings most of the time, visually graded unless I think play-grading is necessary. I ship in standard LP mailers, with extra cardboard, and unless a record is sealed I remove the vinyl from the cover for shipping. I leave feedback about once a month: relax, I will get to it, but I typically wait for buyers to leave feedback first so I know they are happy with their purchase. YES, you can combine items for shipping, just ask when the auctions are done, I try not to overcharge for shipping but anything over 4 lbs (more than six LPs) will require priority mail international, which is expensive.
