(Capitol T 2498) 1966
Produced by David Axelrod, this is the second of the 60s TV icon’s instrumental albums. The son of a distinguished violinist (who taught Jimmy Page how to bow the guitar), McCallum had studied at the Royal Academy of Music and brought his own musical knowledge and conducting talent to the records. Here the fare includes The Batman Theme and Call Me, with flute and guitar, as well as Axelrod’s jazzy, The Edge, later sampled by DJ Shadow.
SLEEVE CONDITION
The US-style card single sleeve is in G shape, still solid, but with tape on the spine and some splitting / damage.
VINYL CONDITION
The disc is in VG condition, glossy with hairlines and minor marks.
This is guaranteed not to be a bootleg or counterfeit.
