Album notes Personnel includes: Ray Charles (piano, vocals), Betty Carter (vocals), David "Fathead" Newman (tenor saxophone), The Jack Halloran Singers (background vocals).Recorded at United Studios, Hollywood, California on June 13-14, 1961; Bell Sound and RPM International Studio, New York between 1961 and 1965. Tracks 1-12 were originally released in 1961 on ABC-Paramount as ABCS (385). Includes original release liner notes by Sid Feller.
