One of the rarest, tough to find Library albums ever - true holy grail for record collectors all over the world. Golden material and absolutely top of the top tunes for DJs, producers, groove hunters, crate diggers, dusty fingers vinyl junkies etc. This double monster features some of the hottest Breakbeat, Funk and Psychedelic sounds from Italian music production with mental grooves, samples and themes all played with a heavy instrumentation. Booming studio production and insane, classy and creative mood music originally conceived to be scored on obscure TV sport programmes, with killer artwork job reproducing protagonist sports of the 70s. Entirely composed by the brilliant maestro Remigio Ducros with the auxiliary of Piero Umiliani's Sound Work Shop engineer Claudio Budassi, Library men behind other masterpieces like AMERICA AMORE AMARO, AMERICA GIOVANE 1, TEMPO DI NAJA ecc. with Daniela Casa playing all the guitar Fuzz arrangements, percussions, effects and vocal accompaining. Gianpiero Ricci is the original producer of this sought-after masterpiece and an able banjo player of the time who also played in several important Italian soundtracks and Jazz recordings, but especially worked as TV producer and collaborator of RCA. Hot Funk lava and terrific breaks throughout with mindblowing groovy beats / sleazy Psychedelic and Fuzz guitars with overpowering basslines / loads of any kind of strange percussions and exotic instruments with crazy drums, congas and bongos / killing football themed Scat vocals and chorus with lovely da-ba-da, scia-da-ba etc. set vocals / Funky flutes and stunning piano groove / aggressive Samba kicks and Brazilian influenced music / Experimental and Avant-garde music cuts with early 1970s Rock and Jazz influences / largest set of moody themes always driven by a solid beat. The open drum breaks of "CANOTAGGIO" easily explain why this album is on the highest demand. The best Bboy drums ever backed by insane Fuzz guitar, mental Hip Hop beats and the hottest Funk groove I ever heard on a Library record! - to follow the crazy fuzzy jams "MOTOCROSS" and "GROSSE CILINDRATE" with Daniela Casa killing at the Psychedelic guitar with downtempo Fuzz refrain, huge drum breaks and thrilling percussions. Both are also comped on CRIMINALE series reissues along with CANOTTAGGIO. More killing driven beats on "VIRTUOSISMO GENERICO" and "GALOPPO" with crazy congas and insane driving piano groove, straightforward bassline and dope obsessive sound. Insane bass on "NUOTO" with Spinet and crawling instrumentation. Several Avat-garde Free-Jazzed themes on the various "FORCING", "RUGBY", "PISCINA COPERTA" etc. "ULTIMI MINUTI" is another obsessive tune with bongo madness and Drama mood. "VELA" is another catching Scat-vocals theme with enchanting Lounge style and mind-melting rhythmical session, with Bossa drums and dope exotic percussions / flute notes.
