Description
Hello! Here we have a rare first pressing of the classic third album by Dead Kennedys from 1985, including the poster that landed them in court on charges of obscenity — the image featured on that poster is a piece by legendary Swiss surrealist H.R. Giger, entitled “Penis Landscape”, or “Work 219: Landscape XX”, which was originally created in 1973. To be perfectly clear, the record, sleeve, and insert have all certainly been used, and include some scuffs on the LP itself… The poster is in great shape, with only two minor corner bends, and a minuscule dot of tape residue on the rear side — see photos for an idea of the overall condition of everything included. For what it’s worth, the runout groove messages are as follows:
Side 1 (“This Side”) = “The full rich flavor of stark reality”
Side 2 (“Bat Side”) = “To cope is to cop out”
