1980 1st UK pressing from 1980 PLUS Large B&W Poster This is the best-selling and generally the most critically acclaimed album by Dead Kennedys. There is a little bit of spindle wear, and only minor scuffs (that do not impact on sound quality). Record plays through very well. Sleeve condition is Ex according to the Record Collector Grading System. Corners: minimal wear. Edges: no wear. Creases: minor creases and dints plus a little ringwear on front. Seams: fully intact. The rear has a photo of a 1950s lounge band whose threat to sue Dead Kennedys for its use (in 1980) led to their ‘beheading’ (or a different photo) on later versions. A 2002 issue reinstated the band - heads and all. The poster is in near mint condition. Original release, looked after by myself since new, plays well with some surface noise consistent with vinyl of this period. I am a lifelong record collector selling from my personal vinyl collection. I have been buying vinyl since the early 1970s. Most records have been only lightly played on high quality turntables. I taped this one for my own personal use when new. The records have been well cared for in a smoke-free and pet-free home. My records are all original pressings (1st, 2nd and subsequent) from the 60s/70s/80s. They are not modern re-issues. I aim to give accurate descriptions. Records are play tested both sides, not just visually graded. Nb hairline marks are a result of occasional withdrawal from sleeves and have little impact on sound quality. Also, very few original vinyl records lie totally flat. As for background noise, all records will have some background noise and this often reflects the variable pressing quality.
