DECCA SXL 2086 – Rimsky-Korsakov: Scheherazade – WBg / ED 1

Black with silver lettering, deep circular groove, “Original Recorded by … “

Sleeve: VG +

Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable.  The sleeve is solid and complete, with no rips, no tears, no seem splits and no creases.  However there is what appears to be an old sticker mark in the rear left corner which can be seen on the photograph.

Inner Sleeve:  NM / VG +

The vinyl is kept in a new poly-lined sleeve. The original sleeve may have light discolouration, and or moderate creasing, however will not be water damaged or torn. (Included).

Label: EX

Clean labels, no stickers or damage.  Signs of been played i.e. very light visible spindle.

All the records I sell have been played thoroughly, hence why there is both a visual and audio grading to enable you to get the best possible impression of the record you are bidding on.

Vinyl Visually:  Side 1 EX - / Side 2 EX -

Side 1: The record has a full original glossy sheen but does show some signs of having been played, with the occasional scuff or light scratch visible when tilted at various angles or under strong light.

Side 2: As above.

Vinyl Audio:  Side 1 EX - / Side 2 VG +

Side 1: The intro – 20 – 50 seconds has 15 – 20 light clicks which are likely to be produced by either a light scuff or pressing defect.  The remainder of the record is the sound quality is excellent, displays no loud crackles, no loud clicks and no jumps. There is some minimal low level background surface noise (occasional static / clicks) in some places; however this is occasional and only appears infrequently and is not consistent throughout the playing of the album.

Side 2: Side 2 is very similar to Side 1 i.e. it suffers from static and soft clicks during the introduction.  However this is slightly longer and lasts for about 1minute 30 seconds.  The remainder of the record VG + / EX as there are no loud crackles, loud clicks or jumps. There is some minimal low level background surface noise (occasional static / clicks) in some places; however this is occasional and only appears infrequently and is not consistent throughout the playing of the album.
