Description
Firstly :- This is my personal eBay ID . I am selling a family friends classical collection . I will start with the better ones and then do a job lot at the end . For auction :-
DECCA SXL 2246 , Mendelssohn in Scotland , with the London symphony orchestra . 1960
VINYL :- The record is in At least VG+ condition . I have cleaned it on my OKKI NOKKI machine and all I can see is a few small marks / lines . These are minor and don't affect play .
It plays very well ( on my deck ) but there is light background crackle audible at the beginning and in the quieter passages . Also three loud pops near the beginning . This may improve with play and further cleaning .
If this were a rock lp I would certainly grade it higher , but I would say that it's certainly a very good sounding record with very little sign of being played -- very light spindle marks .
The cover has no major damage , just as all tear in the front opening edge , see the pictures .
Considering the age of this lp , overall , I would say it's a very nice copy .check out recent selling prices for this one on www.popsike.com
