Description
Mendelssohn in Scotland: Symphony No.3 in A minor "The Scotch", op.56 and the Overture "The Hebrides" (Fingal's Cave), op.26. Peter Maag conducting the London Symphony Orchestra. One of the best sounding records in the Decca 2000-series. Superb sound and dynamics!!!
Decca UK WB GR ED 1 with "ORIGINAL RECORDING" at 10 o'clock. Cat. SXL 2246 ZAL 4811/12 - 1E/1E. Cover EX- (minor shelf and ringwear and a tear of 2 inches in the front of cover, which can repaired easily. So nothing serious). Record EX++/NM- (3 very soft tics at the beginning and now and then just for a second a very soft cracle, not related to a mark. A couple of harmless spots).
