Cover in exceptionally nice shape, has only minor edge indents at spine, tiny corner bend, light age spotting within. Lp like new, only a few tiny spots of very light groove noise going into each side.

The first of only eight releases on the legendary Trident label ( the group would also release the last), the debut DEDALUS album ( a.k.a. "Clocks") is a jazzy progressive, masterful workout, all-instrumental and highly impressive. Side 1 features intense, wild, melodic guitar - bass counterpoint, while the second side takes a more mid-period SOFT MACHINE type approach, featuring some fiery playing, with tasteful keyboards, weird electric violin, some sax... and ultimately loads more guitar soloing... back into a moody late-nite sax/ bass/ keyboards jam - they just never let up. In league stylistically with CINCINNATO, NEW TROLLS - "Tempi Dispari," JUMBO - "DNA." An essential monster not to be missed!
