DEEJAYS: Long Tall Shorty/I can tell (Polydor NH 10980, SWEDEN 1965)



A British originated 60s group that moved to Sweden in 1963. Initially known as Johnny Vallons & The Deejays they shortened their name to the Deejays, switched over from the Swe-Disc label to Polydor & recorded this fab slab of wacks...a tuff harp-wailin' R&B/beat two-sider that later on would only be surpassed by the monstruous "Blackeyed Woman". Get it, baby! Never released in their homeland!

Strict grading. Record/sleeve = VG++/VG+ (only some creases & tiny tears at the top side, nothing serious...no writing etc. - a VG+ sleeve in my grading world is still VERY NICE!)
