Description
This is the original UK LP by DEEP PURPLE, BURN, 1974, RARE very 1st Press on the PURPLE label TPS 3505, comes complete with original UK 1st issue cover and inner sleeve
The label's have the 'GRAMOPHONE CO.LTD' rim credits on the label
Matrix numbers are, SIDE 1:- TPS 3505 A-1U, SIDE 2:- TPS 3505 B-1U
Stamper codes are, SIDE 1:- 2 / RD, SIDE 2:- 1 / GG
And to complete the indentification of this very 1st Pressing is:-
Side 1 has eteched in the run-off:- 'PORKY - MEL-TRISH Side 2:- PECKO
The very 1st 1974 UK 1st issue cover has band and catologue credits on the spine AND on the top seam, later issues had no top seam credits
The original 1974 UK 1st issue Garrod and Lofthouse cover is EX condition, lovely and clean, maintaining all it's original bright vibrant colour, their is no unwanted writing, no seam splits. The spine is lovely and clean and perfectly readable, as is the top seam credits, only minimal storage wear is shown on the seams, edges and corners, very nice example
The vinyl is in a STUNNING MINT- condition, lovely and clean, maintaining all it's original gleaming shine and lustre. I have played both sides, (very carefully), and im delighted to say that from start to finish the vinyl plays Mint-!!!, playing with super crisp clear clarity!, the quality of the Stereo on the 1st pressing, is outstanding!!!!, (Cut by 'PORKIE' is not surprising!) playing with such depth and warmth!, STUNNING, after many years of collecting and trading on Ebay, this without doubt is 'THE' Best UK 1st press BURN ive ever had the privilage to play!!, IAN PAICE 's drums, come thumping through the speakers, pounding with such depth and punch its astonishing!!!, uve really got to hear to believe it!!!, its that impressive!!, Jon Lord's Keyboards play through with such elegance and pinache!, Richie Blackmore lead guitar is just audioablly stunning!, crystal clear and sharp and Coverdales and Hughes's vocal's are again crystal clear and razor sharp!!!, ABSOLUTELY STUNNING, OUTSTANDING AUDIO, CAN NOT BE BETTERED!
The labels is EX+++, lovely and clean, with all its original bright vibrant colour, both label's have no unwanted writing, the centre spindle hole show little or no wear.
The vinyl is housed in it's original 1974 UK 1st issue EMI plain white inner sleeve, and in EX+++ with Patent and 'MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN' credits printed in small font on the back, nearing the bottom. The inner sleeve is lovely and clean, no unwanted writing and no seam splits.
