This auction is for something completely rare. It comprises the album Deep Purple Anthology plus four 12" singles and the even rarer 7" megamix single plus an original application form to send away for the 7" single. This complete set was issued by EMI in 1985, if you bought the album + the four 12" singles you could remove the stickers from them and stick them onto an application form and send away for the 7" megamix single. This was the only way you could get your hands on the megamix single. I bought the complete set and sent away for the single. The album and 12" singles are in "UNPLAYED" condition. I never once had them on a turntable in the 19 years I've owned them. I did however play the 7" single just out of curiousity and they have been locked away ever since, only ever being removed from their sleeves to photograph for this auction. The only damage to any part of the set is on the album cover where there appears to be a small scratch, there is also a slight amount of storage wear to the sleeve, apart from that absolutely no problems. This is a very rare set indeed, and have never seen another one offered up on e.bay. Grab it while you can, you may never get another chance. You may think that the starting price is a bit high, but don't forget you are not just buying one bit of vinyl, you are buying seven plus the application form. I have seen the 12" singles alone @ http://eil.com/shop/moreinfo.asp?catalogid=303936 for £10 each !!! and they are not unplayed copies. Happy bidding.
