I am in the process of selling my Record Collection, I always purchased the best copies I could find.This is the Ist ever UK issue of `Fireball` by Deep Purple on the UK Green Harvest Label. What makes this copy rare is that it is the 1st issue of this album with `Gramophone Rim Text` plus Textured Gatefold Sleeve. It also comes with the rare lyric insert and is in great condition Matrix: Side 1 SHVL 793 A-2U `PEK` - Side 2 - SHVL 793 B-3U
Vinyl (EX) Original 1st Issue `Thick Vinyl` Plays Great with no sticks or jumps etc, under bright halogen lights I can see light sleeve removal scuffs, no feelable scratches!
Inners (M-) - original rare lyric insert in top condition
Labels - Lovely Clean Green Harvest labels (no pen marks etc) with `Gramophone Co` Rim text (later versions had EMI rim text), under bright light I can see a few visible spindle lines
Sleeve (EX++/NM) - Original issue `Textured` Garrod & Lofthouse gatefold, in fantastic condition, none of the usual ringwear, nice readable spine (unusual) and minimum edgewear a great copy! (Please see photos for complete overview)

I use professionally made packers with card stiffeners & record removed from album cover
I use lots of photos to show as accurately as possible what you are getting (also I dont cut the corners of the record sleeve off the picture!!)
Gradings: I use the standard UK gradings as set out in Record Collector Magazine below:
MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Near Mint, EX+, VG+ etc are acceptable additions to help `fine tune` descriptions for the buyer
