'The Gramophone Co. Ltd' at 10 o'clock, one EMI box, slightly rough texture label. This particular pressing is the Georg Peckham mastered cut, and is vastly superior sonically to any subsequent release.

DISC: VISUALLY VERY GOOD+ THAT PLAYS EXCELLENT MINUS. NO SCRATCHES, SOME MINOR SPINDLE WEAR, AND SOME LIGHT HAIRLINES AND SCUFFS. CLEAN LABELS BOTH SIDES. A SPLENDID PLAYING COPY WITH SUPERB AUDIO, THESE EMI FIRST PRESSING DEEP PURPLE LPS REALLY DO SOUND AMAZING, YOU JUST CANNOT BEAT THE MASTERING AND DYNAMICS. NO SKIPS OR JUMPS, NO NOTICEABLE GROOVE WEAR, AND NO DETRIMENTAL SURFACE NOISES.
