This is an UK 1st Press of ‘Fireball' by Deep Purple. This press is complete with the original gatefold textured Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve, the earliest matrix with ‘ EK' engraved in the runout, the original Harvest polylined inner sleeve and Fireball lyric insert.
The record is in Very Good+ condition. The vinyl is extremely glossy and bright with just a few very light wispy marks. The label is sensational. The colours are crisp and bright and there is no spindle wear, just a couple of very light spider marks. When played the sound is extremely bold and clear, with moments of slight noise but certainly nothing that spoils the enjoyment of this album at any point. It is rich and vibrant from start to finish.
The record is complete with the original Harvest inner in Excellent condition.
The Fireball lyric insert is in Mint sensational condition.
The gatefold sleeve is in Very Good+ condition. The black is solid, the colours are vivid and the images are sharp. There is just the slightest edge wear and a light sticker mark in the corner. The inside is superb, like new. The spine is very firm and the whole cover still feels exceptionally solid.
