Description

DEEP PURPLE - IN ROCK

Hello, my name is Dave and I am continuing to list almost all of my 30 year+ music collection. Most of it is rock based, but there will be a few bits of other stuff too. As you will see from my 100% feedback score, I deal fairly and honestly and try to make your buying experience as pleasant as possible. I do have a full time job and also enjoy a lot of time with my family. This means that on the odd occasion, I can take up to a week (maximum) to post a particular item - although about 90% will be sent within 2 days of payment. I will do my best to answer any questions and cater to any reasonable requests if I can. You can rest assured that everything will be very securely packed and I always keep proof of posting until goods safely delivered. If any issues do arise, then please contact me before leaving any feedback and I will always endeavour to resolve.

I do combine postage costs if buying more than 1 item, so please let me know if bidding on something else before I post.

So without further ado, I'll just describe what's on offer here. Happy bidding and thank you for looking. Regards, Dave.

This is the awesome DEEP PURPLE IN ROCK LP and is the original first pressing from 1970 on the heavy quality vinyl. No EMI box on label and A2 B1 matrixes as per all first pressings. And in case it matters to anyone, the mothers and stampers are: 1 MA on side 1 and 1 over 4 GAD on side 2. Does that make side 1 the 43rd ever to be pressed? I'm still learning about this matrix mothers stampers lark, but they really don't matter to me as long as the record looks great and plays well !! People do ask me sometimes though, which is why I just included it here. Anyway, the vinyl looks great. No scuffs or scratches or anything that looks like it would affect play on either side. Side 1 has a very tiny rub mark which is just about visible when angled to the light. Side 2 has 3 of the very faintest hairlines which just be seen when angling the vinyl around to the light. There is certainly nothing feelable or unsightly in any way on this excellent plus vinyl which still retains it's lovely sheen. Only if viewed under very unforgiving strong halogen lighting will you see the usual wispery sleeve removal hairlines that practically every record has - even the ones that are MINT in every other way !! Labels are in beautiful clean condition too, with just a few very slight spindle marks visible when angled to the light. Sleeve is in at least VERY GOOD/EXCELLENT condition in my opinion. Still well laminated all over with a few small creases at the spine just 3 or 4 small thumbnail dents around front and back to be noticed when angling to the light again. Just a couple of very tiny laminate lifts along the spine, but still all good. Inside gatefold also very clean and in excellent order.

So there we have it, but if there is anything I have left out or you wish to know then please feel free to ask away.

If winning bidder outside UK or Europe, please await invoice as may be a little more for shipping. Also note that I will only send this item recorded delivery, so bear this cost in mind when bidding.

Finally, I am confident that the winning bidder will be very happy with this record, but if you are not, then I will accept return if still in the condition as sent. Good luck everyone !!!
