Description
UK FIRST PRESSING VINYL LP IN LAMINATED 'GARROD & LOFTHOUSE' GATEFOLD WITH WHITE POLY-LINED INNER. This is a first pressing on heavy vinyl. There is no EMI on the label, and it has 'The Gramophone Co. Ltd' on outer rim. The mother stampers indicated a first mother for side A from the 26th stamper, and a second mother on Side B from the 24th stamper. So, it is a fairly early first matrix pressing, but it has the slightly varied sleeve with the double line around the EMI box on the front bottom right.

SLEEVE: VERY GOOD+ WITH LIGHT SHELF AND EDGE WEAR, SPINE CREASES, MINOR CORNER BUMPS. INNER IS VERY GOOD BUT HAS A CREASE.
DISC: VISUALLY A VERY GOOD+ THAT PLAYS EXCELLENT WITH NO SKIPS OR JUMPS OR NOTICEABLE SURFACE NOISE. THERE ARE SOME LIGHT HAIRLINES AND FINGERNAIL SCUFFS, ONLY MINOR SPINDLE WEAR. CLEAN LABELS. THIS COPY HAS NOT BEEN PLAYED A LOT AND GIVES SUPERB AUDIO REPRODUCTION.
