DEEP PURPLE
"MACHINE HEAD" LP
1972 1st UK pressing on the
PURPLE Label TPSA 7504 with lyric insert A-1U/B-1U 1st Pressing Matrix Numbers 2/TL & 2/GDG STAMPERS Cover: Garrod & Lofthouse laminated 1st pressing gatefold cover is Excellent+. Lyric Insert: Excellent. Has a light coffee cup ring near the top which is hard to see in the photo. Glossy 1st pressing finish - later ones were matt. Vinyl: Play tested. Heavy duty 1st pressing vinyl. Looks VG+. Nice sheen. Plays VG to VG+ with some background crackle in places. Labels: 1st pressing labels as denoted by 'The Gramophone...' text around the edge and the the 'Made in GT Britain' text at the base of the label.Postage & packaging: £3.50 (UK) £6 (EUROPE) & £9 (REST OF THE WORLD)

Gradings.......
Mint - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.
Excellent - The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality.
Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and occasional light scratches.
Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and more significant scratches.
Fair - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise, it may even jump.
Poor - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc
Bad - The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
