MACHINE HEAD Purple 72 GRAMOPHONE A-1U B-1U LP MINT/EX

UK 1st press with earliest matrix,
GRAMOPHONE CO LTD rimmed text, no insert but the gatefold laminated sleeve is near MINT to MINT,
labels EX with a couple of honest spindle marks.
Vinyl has some very very faint stoarge marks on side 2,
has excellent audio throughout and plays with minimal surface noice throughout.
Has little or no music distortion and sounds superb. Item 996.
Has had a pro clean and is now housed in a new japanese anti static inner sleeve inside the original inner sleeve??

the record has been played on a Linn LP12 Sondek turntable fitted with a goldring stylus , listened to through full range handmade wilmslow audio transmission line speakers that have superb response and definition on all frequencies
For accurate grading visual and play grade (like all my records)
this record has been professionally cleaned using an
okki nokki cleaning machine
( 1st clean with purified water and isoproranol alcohol and
finished off with L’art du son / purified water mix
the alcohol mix removes the release agent all records have from the manufacture stage , this hides detail in the sound
the l’art du son mix seems to smooth out any brittleness the alcohol water mix
