Released in 1972 on the PURPLE label, I am offering today this original very first UK pressing of this classic 1972 album by UK rock legends DEEP PURPLE. The album is titled "MACHINE HEAD" and is packed solid full of great tracks including HIGHWAY STAR, NEVER BEFORE, SPACE TRUCKIN, LAZY, SMOKE ON THE WATER etc, Not a duff track to be found. The album has the rare Gramophone rim text which was only on the first pressing before being changed to the common EMI text. The vinyl shows some very light scuffs nothing that can be felt and plays through with excellent audio and has clean labels.

The album comes with original outer laminated gatefold sleeve printed by Garrod & Lofthouse which is clean with no splits, stickers or unwanted writings etc but shows rubbing to the corners. Overall a very presentable example.

The album also comes with its original large tri fold lyric poster which is very clean with no tears etc.

This comes complete with its original generic inner which is clean.

I have just played this album through for these listing purposes and I am pleased to say that it plays very well with absolutely no sticks or skips etc.

I try to be accurate in my grading as I know what its like to buy miss graded items but won't insult you by writing song lyrics etc. If you feel I have not described this correctly I am happy to refund you providing I receive the item back in the same condition as it leaves me, But I can only refund one lot of postage,

THIS RECORD WAS PLAY TESTED ON A LINN AXIS THROUGH A MUSIC FIDELITY AMP.
