Description
DEEP PURPLE- DEEP PURPLE- HARVEST
ARTIST.............. DEEP PURPLE
TITLE............ DEEP PURPLE
CAT NUMBER............ SHVL759
FORMAT............ ORIGINAL UK 12" VINYL LP.
AN FIRST PRESS AS INDICATED BY THE MATRIX OF A-1 AND B-1 .NO EMI ON THE LABEL.IT ALSO PLAYS REALLY WELL.
The key features of this lp are summarised below:
Sleeve- Gatefold by Ernest J Day.Shows some corner and edge wear.Odd minor storage dinks to front and back.Inside has odd nicks but is otherwise clean.
The spine is still very readable.
Overall- Respectable, clean and strong for its age.
Inner-The record is held in its original Polylined inner.Shows creases but is otherwise clean and strong.
Labels- Clean showing only spindle marks.Made in Gt.Britain.(Around label reads "The Gramophone Co" ect).
Vinyl- STILL RETAINS A GLOSS AND SHINE TO BOTH SIDES.Under bright light examination there are hairlines and marks-nothing serious.
Playback- PLAYS WITHOUT SKIP OR JUMP.
In fact I thought playback was really nice. There are some minor ticks and light crackle in places-otherwise the vast majority plays really well.
A rare record AND a great one to own.Not to be missed. VERY hard to find.
