Description
Welcome to Across the Tracks Music Store on eBay
This listing is for a Progressive Rock vinyl Album from 1968 entitled
Shades of Deep Purple
By Deep Purple
Catalogue number: PCS 7055 The record label is EMI Parlophone
The Track listing is as seen in my photographs
Please note the following details, so you are happy with the specifications before bidding:
This Album has a black and silver label with the Parlophone logo with the £ sign at the top. The EMI boxed logo is lower down under the track listings. The label has the "The Gramophone Co Ltd" Text.
There is no mention of a country of manufacture on the label, just the details on the rear of the sleeve.
It is not the 1968 Parlophone UK release which had a yellow and black label.
The rear of the record sleeve states the following: E.M.I Records (S.E.A) PTE Ltd / E.M.I. (HK) Ltd / E.M.I. (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd.
Clearly it's a middle east Hong Kong / South East Asia manufacture.
The Gramophone Company Ltd detail is in circular print on the label
Barcode and Other Identifiers

I hope that this information will be of assistance to you
when deciding to bid.
The vinyl record is in excellent condition.
It is clean and does not have any scratches, just some
very light hairlines, probably from the paper inner
sleeve.
The sleeve is not in brilliant condition.
It is scuffed and on the rear it is quite faded around the
edges.
On the front, it is not as faded, but there is a ring mark
from the disc and edge rubbing too.
I would only grade the sleeve as a Good or Good + but it
does not have any tears or loose sides
It is just a bit faded in places and worn at the edges.
This is a classic album featuring the line up of
Evans, Lord, Simper,Blackmore and Paice.
