On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Deep Purple called 'Shades Of Deep Purple' and is an ORIGINAL 1969 UK Original on the Silver/Black Parlophone label!!!! THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED IN 1969 ON THE 'YELLOW & BLACK' PARLOPHONE LABEL.  THIS LP WAS ONLY AVAILABLE ON THIS LABEL FOR AN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNT OF TIME - AND IN 1969 THE LABEL WAS CHANGED TO THE 'SILVER/BLACK' PARLOPHONE LABEL.  HOWEVER A VERY FEW OF THE 'EARLIEST' 2ND PRESSINGS ON THE 'SILVER/BLACK' PARLOPHONE LABEL STILL HAD 1ST PRESS FLIPBACK LAMINATED 'PATENTS PENDING' COVERS (LIKE THIS ONE) AND ARE INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND!!!!  AND THIS IS ONE OF THE 'EARLIEST' 2ND PRESSINGS AND STILL HAS A 1ST PRESS FLIPBACK LAMINATED COVER!!!!  IT ALSO HAS EXTREMELY EARLY MOTHER & STAMPER CODES (1/GP & 1/GM - BOTH FROM THE FIRST MOTHER), AND 1ST PRESS MATRIXES - YEX 689-1 YEX 690-1!!!!   AND MAKE NO MISTAKE ABOUT IT, FINDING A 'EARLIEST' 2ND PRESSING WITH A 1ST PRESS COVER (LIKE THIS ONE), IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE AND SERIOUSLY RARE!!!!   NOT ONLY THAT BUT THIS LP IS IN BRILLIANT CONDITION AND PLAYS SUPERBLY!!!!  THIS IS THE 1969 UK STEREO PRESSING ON THE 'SILVER/BLACK' PARLOPHONE LABEL, ORIGINAL 'PATENTS' INNER SLEEVE, AND 1ST PRESS 'GARROD & LOFTHOUSE' FLIPBACK LAMINATED 'PATENTS PENDING' COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the original UK pressing from 1969 and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is PCS 7055 on the ORIGINAL Parlophone label (see picture) and is a UK Stereo pressing!!!!

The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO writing, NO wear, and only a VERY few light spindle marks!!!! IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HASNT BEEN PLAYED MUCH AT ALL!!!! The vinyl is in BRILLIANT condition and plays SUPERBLY!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only 1 VERY light hairline, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!!  It is GREAT to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, NO hiss and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply AWESOME with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!!  The record must grade Very Good++++ if not better and plays SUPERBLY!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!!  I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL inner sleeve!!!! The 1st Press 'Garrod & Lofthouse' Flipback Laminated 'Patents Pending' Cover is in BRILLIANT condition!!!! It has NO edgewear, NO spinal wear, only slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking), VERY shiny laminate, and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated back is in BRILLIANT condition with NO grubbyness (apart from a slight touch to the VERY edge of the flipbacks), NO yellowing, barely ANY rubbing AT ALL, and NO writing!!!!  The cover must grade Very Good++++ if not better!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
