DEEP PURPLE – THE BOOK OF TALIESYN – SHVL 751

1969 Harvest stereo recording: The Book of Taliesyn by Deep Purple. This is a 2nd pressing with label details as follows: The Gramophone Co. Ltd. text around rim; Sold in UK text over 5-lines; no EMI logo. Matrix Nos.: (Side 1) SHVL 751 A – 1G; (Side 2) SHVL 751 B – 1G.

The disc is overall clean and shiny with occasional very light surface marks/scratches which are mainly inaudible. Side 1 has 4 very light ticks; Side 2 has 2 loud ticks on track 1; apart from these the disc plays perfectly. The laminated gatefold sleeve has moderate wear. The top left-hand corner is stapled (although there is no split!); red spot label at top right-hand corner; supplier’s label (in Stockholm) on rear. We have not attempted to remove any of these.
