DEEP PURPLE

This is the UK 1st press of 'The Book of Taliesyn' by Deep Purple. The press is complete with the earliest A-1G/B-1G matrix, there is no EMI box on the label. It has the original inner and laminated gatefold Ernest J Day sleeve.
The record is in Excellent condition, it has a stunning bright gloss, with a couple of the lightest marks on each side. The label is bright green and the text is sharp. There is only the very slightest spindle wear. The label clearly displays 'The Gramophone Co Ltd' and 'Made In Gt Britain' rim text and there is NO EMI logo. On playing there is a little brief noise at the start which clears to superb sound, rich and clear.
The original gatefold laminated sleeve is in Very Good condition. The front cover opening edge is sealed, consistent only with the 1st press. The black is bold, the white is bright and the colours are still vivid. The inside of the gatefold is exceptionally clean and unworn and the spine has some wear at the top but is still firm.
