On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition !!!!) by DELIRIUM called 'Lo scemo e il villaggio' and is a stereo ITALIAN ORIGINAL 1st pressing!!!! THIS IS A VERY RARE 1972 ORIGINAL FONIT 1ST PRESSING!!!! IT HAS THE 1ST PRESS SILVER and BLACK LABEL, A GATEFOLD COVER !!!! The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl. The Cat. No is LPX 18  and is a ITALIAN stereo 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are pure quality DELIRIUM at their best!!!! Any fan of Delirium, or 60s/70s music in general, will want to have this in their collection !!!!

The RECORD LABELS are in EXCELLENT condition with NO wear, NO writing, and only a VERY few light spindle marks !!!!

The VINYL is in VERY GOOD condition!!!! Most of these 60s/70s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, only a lot of NON sounding hairline and only a few light paper scuffs only visible under light !!!! ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT !!!! THE RECORD RETAINS ITS "2ND HAND LOOK " !!!! It is great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with few nasty loud pops, NO sticking, one jump on side two and NO nasty constant crackle !!!! There is NO groovewear either and NO distortion. The record must grade Very Good !!!! Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to !!!! Brilliant !!!!

The Gatefold COVER is in VERY GOOD (to EXCELLENT minus) condition !!!! It has NO edge wear, NO ringwear, only heavy spinal wear and very slight corner wear and NO writing outside !!!! The opening edge is RAZOR straight with serious wears inside and outside !!!! The inside is in  EXCELLENT condition with just one writing (a dedication), NO Grubbyness and NO yellowing!!!! The only other thing to mention is some very VERY light rubbing near the edges of the cover - though it really is VERY light and the cover MUST grade VERY GOOD if not better!!!! A STUNNING GRADE FOR A VERY RARE RECORD!!!!

GRADING OF RECORDS

VINYL GRADING

VG - The disc has been played quite a few times but still plays OK, with some surface noise and has a few surface marks, but nothing serious.

EX - The disc has been played a handful of times and appears in great shape, with only very light surface marks.

NEAR MINT - The disc appears to be unplayed but is betrayed by 1 or 2 spindle marks on the label and displays only the very, very lightest of surface marks, viewable only under close scrutiny.

MINT - The disc is unplayed and as new.

COVER GRADING

VG - The cover has lost the sharpness of the corners, and may display a few light creases, with some yellowing to the rear, but no rips or tears.

EX - The cover is in very nice condition, with only minor discolouration to the rear, and appears to have been looked after.

NEAR MINT - The cover appears new, but has the lightest of blemishes, which are apparent only under close scrutiny.

MINT - As new (i.e. As if you'd bought it that day !)

RECORDS ARE VISUALLY GRADED UNDER A STRONG LIGHT, AND ARE ONLY PLAYED WHERE   SURFACE MARKS, MIGHT AFFECT THE PLAYING QUALITY.
