CONDITION:
Acetate playing surface is overall clean and in Visual VG+ (Very Good+) Grade condition.
There is some flaking on the non-playing portion of acetate.

This is the original acetate master for the super scarce De-Lites single on Cuppy (C-101) "Lover" / "Tell Me Why"
This acetate was recorded at A.M.S. Sound Recording Studios in Philadelphia, Pa.
Previously owned by the producer of the record, Sonny Casella.
It is highly doubtful you will ever see one of these again!!! DON'T MISS OUT!!!

This acetate single was from the collection of 60s-70s Philadelphia and New York City record producer Sonny Casella --- who produced this single!
Some of these acetate singles up for auction were released, but many I've found were most likely never issued!!!
Friends of mine have told me that these acetates seem worthy of compiling for a collection, but time is not on my side. Seems like a worthy endeavor for someone who is willing to make time!

 I was just informed that this is an UNISSUED ALTERNATE TAKE of 'Lover' and upon listening to both versions together I can easily tell-- there is less of the backing vocals (the  'Ohhhs' are taken out, the 'Ahhhs' are still there), some different stresses in vocal delivery and an emphasis on the drums! To the untrained ear, this may seem similar, but it truly is different!
The winning bidder is sure to get a one-of-a-kind copy of this smashing classic!
