Obscure Pre-"Clap Your Hands" Debut Rockabilly Killer! This Montreal combo began in 1959 as The Del-Tones and within only a few months, cut their first single - Moonlight Party / Rockin' Blues - a double-sided rock'n'roll knock-out! Beat to the punch by Dick Dale & The Del-Tones, Quality Records (label & distributor of both records) got the local boys to switch their name. A very small quantity was then pressed and credited to The Beau-Marks. They go down in history as Canada's first rock'n'roll band to have international hit! Both sides of this single were comped on Ultra Rare Rockin' & Boppin', Vol. 1 & 2

CONSERVATIVE GRADING. Record VG++  The vinyl has minor scuffing and only a few light scratches. Minor crackle is audible on playback but isn't too distracting. A/B labels have faint. BONUS comes with vintage custom QUALITY Records company sleeve.  Learn how I grade HERE
