DEMO NOT FOR SALE copy as stamped on the labels.
GLASTONBURY FAYRE 3 LP set on REVELATIONS.
I don't know much about this beside the fact that it has the very initial pressing of the labels (white trim on the Revelations logo - yellow was printed later). The very first sets had this sort of labels, later they were changed to yellow trim, and some later they were mixed (white and yellow trim on the logo on all labels were mixed - one set had one disc of a "white label" and the other two discs had "yellow" trim on the labels (and vice versa).
Another detail of the very first batch of the discs is that they DO NOT have the "1972" stamped near the spindle hole. This was added later, and it was the "common" pressing.
Again there are pressing which have these characteristics mixed within a set. A white trimmed logo label disc with the "1972" near the centre, a yellow trimmed disc without the "1972", etc.
This set has the same fashion labels in all six sides, all are white trimmed logos and all do not have the 1972, THEREFORE, these discs are the very first batch.
ALL the 6 labels have a "DEMO NOT FOR SALE" on them. It is weird as it looks put later but it cannot be removed (if it was a stamp it could be removed). I tried to see if it can go away but it cannot. I cannot see any spindle marks on them. My thinking is that this was added to very few labels before they were heated to the vinyls during production.

VG to EX condition. Labels are immaculate and clean.
THE COVER:
It is the poster cover of the first batch with the name signatures in the end of the text on the inner part (the "later" copies had a different and smaller text about logistics of the pressing and no name signatures). For some strange reason there is a cross marked over the text (see pic). The 80 year old ex representative who gave me this record didn't remember much more about it, beside the fact that there were "issues" with the Grateful Dead and Edgar Broughton Band. He said this was a copy sent to Columbia for evaluation - which didn't fruit...
I really don't know more about it.
