Description
DENNIS SOARES - Surf Over the Reef. 1975 on Kobe Records. ... Really nice primitive loungey soft rock, with excellent echoey DIY production and all original songs. Not entirely 'psych', but sets an excellent hazy late-nite island vibe overall, with some perfect homemade wah-wah drenched AM-radio-ready trax like 'Run Around in Circles' and 'Its Almost Morning'. Soares plays all the instruments: guitar, organ, drums, bass, etc. Extremely mellow, and a fave around here. Please note: This is a 2nd issue jacket, housing original vinyl. Check the Acid Archives for a positive review!
