Description

101 is a live album and documentary film by the English electronic music band Depeche Mode, released on 13 March 1989 by Mute Records in the U.K. and Sire Records in the US. It chronicles the final leg of the band's tour in support of their album Music for the Masses (1987) and the final show on 18 June 1988 at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California, which was the 101st and final performance of the tour and coincidentally also the number of a famous highway in the area. Upon its release, the live album charted higher than Music for the Masses had in the UK, coming in at number 5. The release included a booklet with pictures taken by Anton Corbijn of the band, show, fans, and merchandise. 

THIS COPY is the 1st Specialty Pressing from 1989 on the Sire label (see Notes, below).

The vinyl, per a test listen, has a couple of audible, brief scratches - but they are so brief that the really do not detract from the music.  Because of these few scratches, I am grading the vinyl as Very Good [VG], but the vast portion is really in much better condition.

The original cover shows only faint ringwear and has a "cut out" saw cut in the upper right corner (see photo). Overall it remains in Very Good Plus [VG+] if not better condition.

The original inner sleeves - one black, one white as originally released - are both in Excellent [EX[ condition, with no flaws.

The original booklet (see many photos) is also in Mint [M] condition.
