This plays VG minus at best...The sleeve is VG++...But,for a 60's reggae Lp it's not too bad!.
Issued on Doctor Bird in 1969..DLMB 5014..UK pressing in mono..It comes in a front laminated sleeve..
Play grade:..This plays a bit rough!..It crackles and it clicks on both sides..Some tracks are worse than others...It does'nt stick or jump and the disc plays flat with no edge warps...I have done a sound clip so have a listen and see what you think..
Visual grade:..VG minus..Both sides have light hairlines and a few small but light scratches..(this is why it clicks and pops!)..
The labels:..Clean and undamaged with no scribble or other defects..There is some visible spindle wear to the centre hole..
The sleeve:...VG minus must apply to the sleeve as it has some laminate creasing and corner wear..The back has some age fading and dischape and a small bit of biro between "London" and "SW3" at the bottom of the sleeve..ALSO..If you angle the front to the light, you can see a lot of "X" marks indented on the laminate..Obviously someone used the sleeve to rest a sheet of paper while they practised writing "X" (!?!?)..
Having noted the defects, there are no rips, tears, seamsplits, sellotape, heavy scribble, stains or tape marks...The text on the spine is legible and the colours are bright and unfaded....
UK buyers are welcome to collect this in person or from The Southend Record Fair on the 13th October and then the second Sunday in each month..There is LOADS of reggae at this fair!.
