Description
Up for auction is a copy of The Desperate Bicycles final release, Grief Is Very Private, backed with Obstructive & Conundrum, released in 1980 on Refill Records, cat no RR7. This is easily the rarest Desperate Bicycles 45, aside from their pseudonymous 45 released under the name The Evening Outs, and is near-impossible to find. This copy comes with an insert, which looks like a reprint, or is possibly something cobbled together by a collector (it being just an enlargement of the label design), as I’ve never seen a copy with an insert before. Maybe you have? Either way, it’s a nice bonus.
Condition: vinyl is problem free, an easy EX, verging on M-. A-side label has traces of sticker removal, b-side label has a minor mark. Overall, a really nice copy of one of the most desirable UK DIY releases.
My grades: I use a 10-point scale: M-; EX; VG+; VG; VG-; G+; G; G-; F (fair); P (poor). I never use mint as a grade for used records. My feedback from buyers indicates I normally undergrade in listings. Even so, if you have any problems, I'll give you your money back (less shipping costs), no questions asked. Buy with confidence!
