Description
Perfect O-LEVEL and early TV PERSONALITIES punk soundalike from England. Here it is, the brilliant second 7” by legendary Do-It-Yourself punk band the DESPERATE BICYCLES. You are bidding on the original first pressing, released on their own private mini label ‘Refill Records’ in 1977 (catalogue number RR-2). A typical DIY (Do-It-Yourself) label. Born in a very thin and great looking amateurish and primitive picture sleeve. All copies were released with only one label etiquette to keep the costs down. That means the flip shows a blank white label....it’s soooo Do-It-Yourself. Incredible but true, both tracks ‘The Medium Was Tedium’ and ‘Don’t Back The Front’ appear on both sides. There isn’t a guitarist in the band but instead you can listen to an amazing organ player. Sleeve and vinyl are still in excellent condition. Airmail postage/packaging for 1-5 singles outside Germany is the same price (5,50 Euro for Europe and 9 Euro for the Rest Of The World). Postage/packaging for 1-3 singles within Germany is 2,40 Euro.
