Impossible to find in this superclean (m-/m-) condition. Sleeve and vinyl are just like when you got it in 1977 (you’ll be the 2nd owner!). The starter ‘Smokescreen’ is perfect O-LEVEL or just say early TV PERSONALITIES punk soundalike from England. Here it is, the brilliant first 7” by legendary Do-It-Yourself punk band the DESPERATE BICYCLES. The same sold on eBay, in June 2010, for $104, in February for $91 and in August 2008, for £62 (UK). You are bidding on the original first UK pressing, released on their own private mini label ‘Refill Records’ in 1977 (catalogue number RR-1). A typical DIY (Do-It-Yourself) label. Born in a very thin and great looking amateurish picture sleeve (the back of the cover is blank!!). All Singles were released with only one label etiquette to keep the costs down. That means the flip shows a blank white label.....it’s soooo Do-It-Yourself. Incredible but true, both tracks appear on both sides. An absolute beauty this one......and in tip-top condition !!!

Mailing / Versand: alle Platten werden in einer neutralen weißen 7“ Hülle außerhalb des Plattencovers verschickt, um Beschädigungen am Originalcover zu vermeiden (all records will be sent in plain white 7“ sleeves outside of the picture sleeves to avoid any seam splits). Ebenso werden alle Platten entsprechend stabil in speziellen 7“ Schallplatten-Versandkartons mit zwei dicken Pappkartons verpackt (all records will be shipped in special 7“ record mailers, two cardboard paddings (the best) will be used to avoid bending).

 

Payment / Bezahlung: Deutsche per Banküberweisung. Non-Germans via PayPal.
