Devera Ngwena – 16 – Usambate, Don’t Touch Her Featuring Jonah MoyoLed by Jonah Moyo, Devera Ngwena was formed in 1979 with the financial support of the Mashaba Mine Company. Originally, they were something of a cover band playing the latest Zairean hits, but they gradually developed their own style and began writing their own material. Their straightforward approach to music and lyrics, which concern everyday life, make them very popular with the working class and have helped them become one of the top-selling bands in Zimbabwe today. They toured the U.K. in 1988 and were well-received.

The album is on RTP Records, PDZLP 5000. Matrix side one: PDZ 5000 A (written). Matrix side two: PDZ 5000 B (written).
Released in 1993. South Africa pressing. Stereo.

Condition: (as Record Collector’s grading system)
Vinyl side 1: excellent (has a few very light superficial marks that do not affect the audio in any way, plays great with no jumps, sticks or clicks and minimal crackle).
Vinyl side 2: excellent (has a few very light superficial marks that do not affect the audio in any way, plays great with no jumps, sticks or clicks and minimal crackle).
Cover (matt): very good (a few light creases, some light marks).
I have tried to give my honest opinion as to the condition. I will give a complete refund to the buyer if they are not happy with the record.

RECORD COLLECTOR GRADING SYSTEM:
MINT: I very rarely use the mint grade. Only records that are still sealed or records that even under the strongest of lights are completely unmarked. Also covers that are unmarked/uncreased in any way and still look brand new.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is no lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
POOR: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
