THE DEVIL'S ANVIL
"HARD ROCK FROM THE MIDDLE EAST" LP
Columbia CL 2664 MONO
CONDITION: Record is VERY GOOD, Cover is VG-. Some water damage on the bottom of the cover, plus a saw mark on the upper right side, and very slight writing on the front.

Interesting and unusual artifact from the psychedelic era... in glorious mono.
Electric guitar and fuzz bass collide with Middle Eastern and Indian instrumentation -- think Oud, Tamboura, and the like.
Felix Pappalardi, who was about to taste success producing Cream and playing with Mountain, arranged this and plays a bunch of different instruments.
Bobby Gregg even makes an appearance on drums.
