Description

This is a beautiful copy of German DGG SLPM 136057, from a retired reviewer's collection. The disc is a thick pancake "Alle Hersteller," and the cover is dated 1/1960. The Amadeus Quartet plays two string quintets, KV 516 and 593.

This record was auditioned with a Goldring 1042 cartridge, Music Hall TT, Densen amplification and Epos speakers. The thick disc looks glossy and superb, and plays quietly at about NM. The cover has some edge- and ring-wear, so VG/VG+.

This is a collector's copy of this early stereo DGG.
