Description
Beautiful copy of the original 1964 stereo pressing of Duck Dale's Mr. Eliminator LP on Capitol ST-2053. Surf/Hot Rod guitar classic featuring session playing by Glen Campbell and Bruce Johnston, both from the Beach Boys. The disc has a few visible scuffs and light marks but it plays near perfectly, with maybe only tiny crackle between a couple of tracks, barely. Really sounds fantastic. The cover is in wonderful shape, though there is clear tape all around the edges, which is not repairing any damage so much as just protecting against it. This was in the library of one of LA's great jazz and blues DJs of the 50s and 60s, and all his records were taped this way, with little tabs on the edges, as this one has, for easy identification. The tape could be removed if you like, using lighter fluid, but I think it looks kind of cool myself as a relic from old radio, so I'll leave that up to the buyer. It's actually barely noticeable. Anyhow this is a lovely original copy that sounds beautiful.
