Description

Pretty much the father of the cut-in comedy single - record, this is one of those weird weirdest type of records - hilarious pop comedy satire tonque in cheek vocal group track that sounds like the Hollywood Argyles of Ally Oop fame or Peanut Butter from The Marathons - this is from DICKIE GOODMAN, and to top it all off, it's a Demo copy, titled : HORROR MOVIES written by Dickie Goodman and R. Arkin, sounding like Alley Oop by the Hollywood Argyles, great midtempo comedy track - B/W - WHOA MULE, written by B. Lucas, a fanastic part sax instrumental, part rap shout-in talk singing vocal from someone that sounds like Screamin' Jay Hawkins - another fantastic track. On RORI RECORDS - #601, distributed by Ember Distributors - 7" 45 RPM - an original US release, not a repressing, not a re-issue, not a bootleg. Pressed and released 1961. This is a promo, Demo, DJ copy released to radio stations before being released in a record store for-sale stock copy version.

The vinyl is in Mint Condition - bright, shiney, clean, no scratches, has been stored by me since just after release. The label is in Near Mint to Mint Condition - there are two red X marks placed by the promo person on the Horror Movies side. ( NOTE: The photo image may look a bit dar, but the actual label is bright, sharp, clean, clear - thanks). Rock 'N Roll. Classic Rock. Pop. Disco. Comedy. Satire. Rock 'n Roll. Motion. Dj's. Producers. Mixers. Sonic Splicers. Floor Enlargers. Turntable Wizards. RPM Regenerators. Tone Arm Perfectionists. Flip Disc Spin Specialists. Vinyl Prestidigitators. Needle To The Vinyl Valley Masters. Audio Activists.

PAYMENT: I NOW ACCEPT PAYPAL. U.S. buyer pays either $4.00 for MEDIA flat mail (7-12 days postal delivery), or $5.50 for Postal PRIORITY Shipping, including Delivery Confirmation/Proof Of Mailing (2-3 day postal delivery). Insurance at the request and expense of the buyer. International shipping/payment is $8.95 for all countries, except Japan, Australia, and Germany which is $9.95. Payment is by PayPal, Money Order (postal/ merchant-store/ bank), BidPay/Western Union Auctions, Bank Cashier Check, Regular Overnight Western Union, or safely concealed Cash. I do not accept personal checks, no business checks.

These are hard to find items, and I like to ship US Postal Priority as I've found there's much less chance for loss or damage to the item, but I am happy to send it whichever way you wish. International, I ship Air Letter Post including Certificate Of Mailing/Proof Of Mailing, packed sturdily for the trip.

MULTIPLE PURCHASES AND SHIPPING: I cannot comment enough on ordering more than one record or picture sleeve at the same time. It really saves you lots of money - EXTENSIVELY save on shipping and average out the cost of each record this way - the 1st 7" record AND second 7" record is the normal one regular shipping fee ( the 2nd is shipped free in the package with the first record), and thereafter, each 7" record is 50 cents each in the US / $1.00 for albums/12" singles.

International, shipped Air Letter Post, the first two 7" singles are the same one shipping fee, and the others up to 5 records for 50 cents for each 7" single and $1.00 for each album / 12" record - if 5 or more, than it's Parcel Air Post charge plus 50 cents or $1.00 depending on size of the record. If you have ordered a 12" and a 7", the 12" size shipping fee applies. A lengthy explanation yes, but saves you lots of money.

I have many records in the Northern Soul, R&B, Modern Soul, Deep Soul, Rare Soul, Crossover, Reggae, Tribal, Hip Hop, Old School, Latin, Disco, Ecstacy, Soul, Acid, Jazz Funk, House, Rap, Gangster Rap, Old School, Club, Alternative Club, Underground Club, Dance, Funky, Southern Soul, Funk as well as Classic Rock, Pop, Rock n' Roll, Doo Wop, Mod, British Beat, Rocker, Bar Bong, Alternative Rock, Psychedellic, Psych, Progressive, Prog, Kraut, Art Rock, Garage, Punk, Hard Rock, Metal, Comedy, Oldies, Early Rock n' Roll, Blues Rock, Top 40, Top 100, Brit Rock, New Wave, Instrumental, Picture Sleeve catagory and I list many every day.
