Description
DIE DANCING BEARS 1982 AUSTRALIAN DIY SYNTH PUNK / WAVE
Mint condition copy ( records looks unplayed and looks like the band have added some advice on the hanmd written note on the back of the insert)..of DIE DANCING BEARS 7" single "DRUG DANCE" b/w "NEW YORK VALENTINE" self-released in 1982 on plain label. There is a 10c note printed on the front cover.
DIE DANCING BEARS were a gothic-tinged post-punk band who moved from Adelaide to Sydney, where their staple gig was the infamous French's Tavern on Oxford Street. Noted is the passing of Lynton Cox (vocalist of Die Dancing Bears & other 1980s "black art" rock bands) dated early 2005. According to dB magazine (Adelaide) he died from a heart attack at age 41. Needless to say, this is a very rare artifact from the early 1980s, in very rare condition. Sleeve is in excellent shape. lyric sheet is included...with the hand written note on the back. Record is new - MINT+.
