German rare original #1309 (written by hand in pen on the top edge on the back) out of #3000 of their rare 1982 album with booklet on the infamous Zick Zack label (ZZ 123). Booklet's pages were never stapled together originally & it's in German. This album is a.k.a. Pantoffeltieramöbe (which is on the bottom left corner on the front) non glossy cover but the actual front picture has been put on in gloss for a cool affect.

The first full length record of Die Tödliche Doris is not untitled, but rather called " ".

Limited, numbered edition of 3000 copies. Comes with the 24-page booklet entitled Boingo Osmopol Nr.2, the 2nd and final(?) issue of the fanzine.

Besides Die Tödliche Doris and Blixa Bargeld, another one was also credited as executive producer of the record, who was called frank.

AMG PROFILE: Die Tödliche Doris ("Deadly Doris") was a German performance art/music group that were together from 1981-1987, long enough to record a few albums, singles, and enough video tape to warrant a couple of releases. The three band members -- Käthe Kruse, Wolfgang Müller, and Nikolaus Utermöhlen -- formed in reaction against the suddenly popular Neue Wilde painting in Berlin. Die Tödliche Doris combined rather dadaist theatrics with their music. Even the new wave sound of the band's second album, Unser Debüt, wasn't as straightforward as it seemed; with their next album, Sechs, the band revealed that the two albums were meant to be listened to simultaneously, creating a third, "invisible" album.

CONDITION: The record is near mint (possibly even unplayed, I don't even see spindle marks on the label), the plain white innersleeve has an "11/82 K" on the bottom corner, the cover is VG+ with corner wear on 3 of the corner tips & a couple of light hairline creases on the edges (minor bend crease on the bottom left corner) the booklet is photocopied & near mint & not even yellowed with age, probably hasn't been out since it was bought back in 1982 until i took those pictures (this comes from an amazing huge industrial records collection I bought back in 1996 I'm still listing some very obscure bits of) checking other copies on the net I think they are all this way (photocopied & unstapled).

LP SHIPPING + PACKING & VARIOUS INFO:
I use real coated cardboard LP mailers when I ship vinyl & these are very durable. I usually take the records with the inner sleeves out of the covers (unless factory sealed of course) so they don't split the seams of the cover in shipment. Then I put them in a 2 or 3 mil plastic sleeve & then wrap a plastic bag or two around them to keep them from flopping around in the mailer, this method seems to work best since it adds air & almost works like bubble wrap (keeps the LP's usually under a pound & saves a lot on shipping rates worldwide compared to using cardboard inserts), breakage rate has been way less than 1 in 1000 using this method, if I added cardboard it also would make the weight of it more prone to the corners getting dented in transit if dropped. 10" records & 12" singles count as 1 LP for shipping, single laserdiscs count as 2 LP's for shipping (& I pack 2+ records differently & I have oversized boxes for larger packages...don't worry I've been sending out stuff about 5 days a week for over 20 years now & know exactly what I'm doing over here). I also add plain white inner sleeves so custom innersleeves don't get spit in shipping also (if either company or specialty sleeves came with the record).

All records are BLACK VINYL unless noted & inserts/gatefold covers/posters/custom inner sleeves will be noted in the description if they are included plus promo & cutout marks stated if they are there also. I don't believe in hiding stuff & try to note most everything that should matter to buyers. All 12" vinyl on ebay is automatically listed as 33 1/3 rpm & 7" vinyl as 45 rpm (to save time on listing all this stuff) if you need to confirm speed on a specific item please ask & I can go check.
