An original copy of the ultra-rare 12” single on 4AD one of the early proponents of what later became the 4AD sound, DIF JUZ.
The record is in absolutely Mint condition
The sleeve is also in perfect Mint condition.
One of the 4AD record label's most criminally unheard-of bands, Dif Juz crystallise everything about the 4AD ethos. Formed by brothers Dave and Alan Curtis, with Gary Bromley and Richie Thomas – their first releases were two EPs for 4AD Records in 1981, ‘Huremics’ and ‘Vibrating Air’. Both works contained textured instrumentals with a wispy, barely-there feel, the classic 4AD sound - but many years earlier.
Complex, highly textured, and beautifully arranged instrumental pieces - the incredible variety of sonic details in these jazzy, upbeat tracks makes this a release to be savoured and rediscovered, a classic from an enigmatic but engrossing band.
Ridiculously hard to find, this classic 4AD 12” rarely appears.
