Description
This is a fine original U.S. pressing copy of the second and final LP by the duo of Doug Dillard and Gene Clark, released in 1969. Clark was a founding member of the Byrds, but left after their third LP, 1966's Fifth Dimension. Dillard had of course been in folk/bluegrass group the Dillards. The duo's sophomore effort was a somewhat less adventurous outing than the debut, with fewer Clark originals and more cover versions. Most of the latter are of country standards ("No Longer a Sweetheart of Mine," "Rocky Top," etc.), though they do include a version of the Beatles' "Don't Let Me Down." The jacket is in the original shrink wrap. It has staining along the edge on the back cover (see photo for a sample) and light wear in the exposed corners, but is otherwise close to pristine (EX). The disc has some scuffing and light scraping, and plays with some mostly light surface noise (EX-). The record comes with the original label inner sleeve.
I am in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.
If you'd like to order multiple items, I'll happily combine them so that you won't have to pay multiple shipping charges.
