The 13th album of the indie rock legends was co-produced by Kurt Vile, who also contributed as an occasional guest musician, a decidedly "hairy" combination! At the same time, it is the 5th album since their rebirth in the mid 00s. Originally slated for release in mid-2020, the album sessions began in the late fall of 2019 following a tour in their usual environment and then recorded as usual at Amherst's Biquiteen. As usual, the Dinos are very cool on the road here. J. Mascis partner in crime, Lou Barlow of Sebadoh fame sings 2 self-penned of the album's 12 songs, to which Murph contributed his usual power drum drive with the energy of a "Go-Cart from Hell". Although there are a few song moments on the album where you wouldn't necessarily think you were on a Dinosaur Jr. album if you didn't know it, the Dino's legendary signature sound is omnipresent!

Das auf 500 Stück limitierte Bundle enthält White Purple Splatter-Vinyl, eine Bonus-CD-R mit 4x Livetracks (zwei neue + zwei Songs von “Give A Glimpse Of What Yer Not”) in Card Wallet und einen von J.Mascis und Band signierten Artprint! Das 13te Album der Indie-Rock-Legenden wurde von Kurt Vile koproduziert, der auch als gelegentlicher Gastmusiker mitwirkte, eine ausgesprochen “haarige” Kombination! Gleichzeitig ist es das 5te Album seit ihrer Wiedergeburt Mitte der 00er-Jahre. Ursprünglich war das Album schon zur Veröffentlichung für Mitte 2020 angedacht, nachdem die Albumsessions im späten Herbst 2019 im Anschluss an eine Tournee in der gewohnten Umgebung begonnen hatten und dann wie gewohnt im Amherst’s Biquiteen aufgenommen wurde. Wie gewohnt sind die Dinos sehr cool unterwegs hier. J. Mascis Partner in Crime, der durch Sebadoh bekannte Lou Barlow singt 2 selbst geschriebene der 12 Songs des Albums, zu denen Murph seinen gewohnten Power-Drum-Drive mit der Energie eines “Go-Cart from Hell” beitrug. Auch wenn es ein paar Song-Momente auf dem Album gibt, in denen man sich nicht unbedingt auf einem Dinosaur Jr..-Album wähnen würde, wenn man es nicht wüsste, ist der legendäre Signatur-Sound des Dino omnipräsent!
