My eBay name is 'punky_music' and I'm a full-time record dealer since nearly 30 years
Rare promo of perfect melody punk from Canada, released in 1978. There is a golden promo stamp with the words UNVERKÄUFLICHES MUSTER on the back sleeve (see scans). The debut album by the DIODES from Toronto was given 9 of 10 points by the great FLEX website (US Hardcore Punk Discography)….and here’s the FLEX comment:

Highly melodic punk from Canada. Great catchy and rocking stuff, the slightly “cleaner” sound and vocals - compared to other bands of that era - are forgivable. A classic LP with lots of hits. [9]

Extrem melodischer Punk aus Kanada, der - nicht zuletzt durch den harmonischen Gesang - etwas “sauberer” als die damaligen Konkurrenten klingt. Insgesamt aber eine tolle Platte mit vielen Hits, Songs wie Red Rubber Ball bleiben einfach im Ohr.
Only winners like ‘We’re Ripped’ / ‘Behind Those Eyes’ / ‘Time Damage’ / ‘Red Rubber Ball’ and so on. Released on the CBS label (catalogue number CBS 82681). Complete with printed inner sleeve which shows the lyrics.

Ebenso werden alle Platten entsprechend stabil in speziellen Schallplatten-Versandkartons mit zwei dicken Pappkartons verpackt (all records will be shipped in special LP record mailers, two cardboard paddings (the best) will be used to avoid bending).
Bezahlung / Payment: Deutsche per Banküberweisung oder PayPal. Non-Germans via PayPal only. All orders outside Germany which exceed a value of €12 or £11 or $13 will only be sent by registered mail.
